I sent my P6 off to Sig when they were running their Father's Day promotion and got a complete service and trigger job.  I just received it back and am getting some light strikes resulting in FTFs (about 3 out of 70 rounds of PMC Bronze).  This is my car gun, so it does self defense duty.  Should I send it back or can I troubleshoot it at home?

If Sig was the last to touch it, I'd call them and let them fix it, at their expense  If for some reason they won't help you, disassemble the upper (slide) assy. and give it a good cleaning.   While you've got it apart, r&r the springs, and inspect the firing pin as well.  You'll need to replace the roll pins holding the assembly togother also.  Good luck, it's not hard at all.

My new P226 also has this issue with my reloads.  I've not experienced light strikes with factory loaded Win WB.  It seems to be worse with CCI primers.  Win primers are better but still have a FTF every 20 rounds or so.  My Glocks and M&P have no issues with CCI or Win primers.
