My first Sig, picked it up a couple of months ago. I'm still pretty new to shooting, but I can shoot this thing a heck of a lot better than my Ruger P95. Not sure if it fits my hand better, or what. I'm hitting ~90% of my shots in the black at 15 yards and ~70% of my shots in the black at 25 yards, using slow fire 25 yard pistol targets. It's pretty hard to take a really good pic. I played around with it a bit. Now you can see Bob has another tool in his toolbox.  |
What's up with those grips. Did you do them yourself? |

Story is a South American PD wanted SIG but they required a safety. Said PD had financial problems and had to cancel order. SIG dumped them cheap to get rid of the oddballs. Been super reliable so far. |

Yes I did them myself. I like the slim grip of the plastic stock grips but needed some texture to them. I use a sodering iron to make the texture. They have become popular with the troops. Have done a bunch of them. I think the look great with that color Sig. I have them on my duty gun also. |
Dougie, Hadn't seen your post before. That's actually Connor's Bob Builder couch. He was crashed upstairs, and I was playing around trying to get a decent picture. I think the trick is in the lighting. I never could get a better picture with the lighting and camera I was using. Glad I could help you with your new disease. Maybe we can take Batgirl and Macaroni to the range with us sometime after the new bundle arrives. I wonder if Macaroni would like a 9mm Sig better than my 9mm Ruger? She says the Ruger has too much kick, but her .38 Special's OK. I'm planning on going to BE sometime this week to shoot a bit. I'm bringing the .38 'cause I ain't skeered. Want so see if I can hit the narrow side of a barn with it. |

Noner, a Beretta knife next to a SIG??? Just kidding. Hopefully I'll be owning a Sig soon.

Hey guys, I just bought a 226R in 9mm. I love it so far. I was wondering two things. One is why are some of the guns made in Germany and others in New Hampshire? The other is do you know of a place that has a good selection of Sig accessories such as grips and sights for a good price? Thank you for your help. |
