Any first hand contact, or do we have to wait for SHOT? http://www.sigsauer.com/Products/ShowCatalogProductDetails.aspx?categoryid=70&productid=307 |
| I have been to two gun shows since they were first announced and go into at least two local gun stores almost weekly. I have not seen any and no info when they will hit the stores. But if it means anything I did finially see a SIG 516 at the last gun show in Nov and how long ago were these announced? Shot show and first one I saw was almost the end of Nov? |

at an MSRP of around $750 for the base model, I'll pass. Just wondering where you got that price? I looked on Sigs webpage and its not listed. I was hearing the price would be closer to $500 but that was just internet talk since Sig had not released the price yet. Just wondering if Sig released the price and where you found it. And just to add....I would NOT even think about it at that price. |

That list is the supposed msrp for 2011 |
| The Sig website finally has more info on the 290. They have item numbers listed and have the other variations listed as well. MSRP is listed, too rich for my blood right now! Hopefully we will see some of these out and available soon so we can get a more accurate review of the weapon. |

Some new info but still no info on when it will be shipped. I went into my two fav gun shops today. One shop said they had sevral ordered but no idea when they would get them. They said it could be tomorrow or next month. The other shop also said they had several ordered but it could be 2012 before they see them based upon how Sig did the release of the last two new guns.
Seems nobody has any idea when these will hit the market |

Ruger LC9 MSRP is $443 and I've seen consistent prices between $350 and $390. I wonder which one I'll get.

shit at that price i say FUCK YOU SIG. its a half plastic gun.
SBG has them for $675 - at this price I wonder how popular they will be Sig Sauer 290 9mm, the smallest of their 9mm line. This is the frist edition limited run with aluminum and black insert. These are 6rd mags with extended 8rd mags coming out later.

Quoted: Quoted: Hopefully after things settle down, we will be able to buy them for less than $475. If they are any more than that, I won't be enterested, and I am a Sig guy. Agreed. I don't see any reason they would not get that low when they are used (a la Walther PPS). |

Being a sig addict How can sig make a nice smooth trigger like they have in the 250, and then put out a gun with a terrible trigger and charge $ 300.00 more? They really screwed the pooch on this gun. If you want a good gun for CCW, get a Kahr. While I like the trigger on my 250, Nothing compares to my Kahr PM9. That being said, The 226 E2's felt great! so sig at least gets some credit. |
