These are crazy priced right now AND I like the trigger feel...

So, if I buy the full size 9mm, where would I get the other combos (say a 9mm SC or a 40 full size)?  SIG website seems to only list the grip frames, no slide/barrel assemblies.

2 sum is also a good deal at $633, but I like being able to buy the caliber/size I want as I can afford it––the full size nine is less than $400 delivered right now. With night sights. Kind of like an AR, y'know?

I think they are way backordered on the caliber kits. I've had a full size 9 for eight months and have yet to see a kit actually in stock. I haven't checked lately, but it sounds like you have.

The gun sucks!!!  My agency tried to transition to this weapon and it has failed horribly so far.  The one I was issued I shot 1115 times and the malfunction average was a level two malfunction every 83.2 rounds.  No mine was not the exception it was the average.  Sig refuses to except there is a problem and we are currently in litigation to get out of our contract.  Do not spend your money on this gun no matter how good a deal it is.

I can wait until bugs are fixed––but it seems like they have been out long enough to have fixed them!  Regardless, I went with one of SOG's USP 9MM with jet funnel kit.  It was only $100 more and has the magazine release in the proper spot!

You can pull up the GAO report that the ATF filed about how unreliable it is.  SIGs answer was that the ATF was "placing to much emphasis on a guns reliability there are other things that make a gun good other than how reliable it is."

What does GAO stand for so I can look it up?

You can find conversion kits and Grips sizes through OMBExpress.com, Topgunsupply.com and Sigs website whenever Sig gets stuff in.
