| I tried the trijicon rmr with a fnp45 tactical I had for a week. I didn't like it because it was hard to find the dot on such a small window. If you don't have it just right the dot will dissapear. It's different than on a rifle with a stock, with a good cheek weld you move you face body gun and red dot all as one. it let's you look at your target with both eyes open and not have to worry about loosing the dot. Mabey with more training with I could become better with it but if I did then picked up another gun without it i might have trouble adapting. |

Irons are much faster to aquire on a pistol than the Dr. Optics type sites. |
| On handguns they are more difficult to pick up. They take a lot of handling before the dot is always there. Had an early Tasco on a G-19 years ago and got rid of it for that reason. I would never put one on a serious SD gun. I want one for outdoor fun shooting on my G-20. |

I have an RMR on a G20 - It will take many rounds before I can shoot the dot as fast as irons. How did you mount it? Trijicon doesn't make a RMR mount or adapters for Glocks. RMRs are not compatible with other mounts, would sure like to know how you mounted an RMR on your Glock. |
