So I just got a Glock LEO order form, and it list's the options for Glock night sights and Trijicon night sights. Anyone have a picture of the difference between the two?
Thanks |
| I don't have a picture but I put a set of Glock night sights on my G19 last month and a set of Trijicons on mt G26 last week and I prefer the Glock ones a little more personally. The tritium in the trijicon's looks a little more focused at night because of the sapphire lenses and the front post is a little thinner so theoretically it should be a little more precise for target shooting during the day. The Glock dots are a little bigger and seem to glow a little brighter and the sights are tennifer finished like the rest of the Glock. The big thing I don't like about the trijicons and it is probably inconsequential to most people is the painted on circles around the tritium tubes. I don't like to have to be that careful using oils and solvents around the sights and worry about having the paint come off. The Glocks and Meps I believe have some kind of pvc or rubber rings around their tubes. The Trijicon sights have a nice sight picture and nice sharply defined trituim tubes but how much more would it have cost them to ditch the paint and use some rubber rings. |

You won't be disappointed. I've got one set of Glock's and they are in no way different from my set of Meps except that they have "Glock" stamped on them. agreed. Quoted:
I was informed a week ago that Glock's warranty on their night sights is 15 years. this is good to know. |
