Who has the best prices on inexpensive and reliable .40 S&W (per case) for a Glock.
edit for clarification: 1000 rds FMJ |

I've had good results from the Federal Champion ammo, a little better than Winchester white box in my opinion. I don't know what your local tax rate is but these are a little cheaper than buying at walmart for me. http://www.aimsurplus.com/product.aspx?item=AFED40FMJ180&groupid=31 http://palmettostatearmory.com/1210.php Good source to compare ammo prices: http://gun-deals.com/ammo |

When my local Walmart has Federal FMJ in stock, it sells for $13.97 per box, which is about $280 per 1,000. I don't typically see it anywhere cheaper than that. you can beat that in an auction (again if you're willing to buy 1000). often free shipping, no tax. |
| Yeah, in the years I've known about ammoman, i've rarely ever seen him have anything desireable in stock. Ammunitiontogo.com is my primary online ammo vendor and they're almost always in stock. Luckygunner, aimsurplus, and palmetto are also good to price check once in a while. Luckily I live by HuntingShack and BVAC (sold in cheaperthandirt) so I get ammo at about wholesale so there's no real online place that can come close to what I pay for my .40, .45, and .223 ammo. |
| i've had good luck with cheaper than dirt. just look for specials. i have also used Ga. Arms. just shop around. |

Where? gunbroker? Rarely see any deals. I've just picked up two 1,000 round lots for $250 and $259. Let one go by at $245 when I wasn't paying attention. at $250, that's $12.50 a box for federal ammo delivered to my door for free ($12.95 for the $259 lot). I've not seen any store, walmart or otherwise, touch that in metro Denver––you may have some better deals in your neck of the woods, though. That's also cheaper than anything on ammoman (which i've not used, but is my benchmark among online dealers because they're generally cheapest) i don't mean to sound like an ass, but you've got to be willing to buy the 500 or 1000 round lots to save, so you're looking at prices in that range for 40. You have to be patient on the auctions. I set myself a price, and then don't exceed it. Some more will come along, some idiots will bid it up high, so you let that one go and focus on the next lot coming down the pipe. Many 1000 round lots will get bid up to $270 or so, I just let them go. |

Get some Wolf .40. $129.50 per 500 at Widener's and it's reloadable(or so they say)
