I just picked up a Jager Gen4 recoil assembly.  I haven't shot it yet, but I welcome the ability to use different weight springs.  The new double-spring setup works on my Gen4, but others are still having problems.

I've noticed some wonky things with the Gen4 OEM spring as sometimes the rod looks like it veers off to one side, and there are times when it doesn't feel like it's loading up consistently.  I feel that the recoil assembly is best when it's K.I.S.S.

The Jager rod is well built. It uses a bushing setup on the front to accommodate the large hole.  It'll be interesting to see how the bushing wears, and I wouldn't mind having an extra on hand just in case something happens to this one.  The rod goes in and out much easier than the OEM assembly.  I got the 15# spring, but have some other ISMI weight springs laying around to try out.  It takes the standard Glock ISMI springs, or just about any other Glock recoil spring for that matter.

Looks like a great way to run a stock factory 17lb spring in a 4th gen. Nice.

Nope. Been stuck at FLETC since I got it.  Haven't touched my Glock in almost a month.
