| I purchased a G19 and I would like to know whats a good ammo to plink with wwb? |
|
Quoted: whats the deal with lead, I have alot of the wwb, but some say that ammo uses lead. Most bullets use lead. However, Glock recommends only using bullets with a copper jacket (which still have a lead core). WWB or any ammunition with a copper jacketed bullet should be fine for your Glock. I use mostly WWB, Federal, and Blazer Brass. |

I've been running Ulyanovsk steel-cased 124gr NATO and brown/silver bear 115gr steel cased as my 9mm plinking ammo for a decade now. Only ammo that ever gave me trouble was some hard-primered Olympic (greek) 115gr 9mm I tried back in 2002, and that wouldn't even fire reliably from my MAC-10.
Any reasonable factory load with a jacketed bullet should work fine. |

Plink with the cheapest jacketed ammo you can find. I ran 500 rounds of steel cased Brown Bear in a pistol class and had no issues. I can order it online for cheaper than Wal-Mart sells 9mm for.
Carry one of the rounds on Dr. Robert's list of recommended duty loads. (Ranger B, Ranger T, Fed HST, Gold dot, etc). |
