I am currently using a G19C in the occasional IPSC competition. Because it is compensated I can't use it in the IDPA or 3 gun matches. I have to use the Kimber .45 instead. Normally this would be fine as IDPA is limited to 10 rounds anyway; but 3 gun matches have no limit on mag capacity, and .45 ammo has become incredibly hard to find around here lately. Not to mention 9mm is cheaper anyway. So I need to replace my G19C barrel with a non-compensated one. Accuracy and reliability are my 2 main concerns. Also, I'm not a gunsmith and would prefer something that I can just drop in and shoot.
Does anyone have any experience with KKM, EFK, and Bar-Sto barrels? Can anyone recommend one of these over the others, or any other top quality brand for that matter? Is the accuracy gained from these barrels going to be considerable over the stock Glock barrel??
TIA

LWD but you must pay the extra $10 to not have the stupid (yes, it's stupid) logo visible.

Otherwise, they build a great, accurate barrel. I own several. Their guide rod spring sets are even better.

If you are going to put a suppressor on it, get a LW threaded, if not, get a Glock Factory.

Nobody said shit about suppressors here.

No need for aftermarket anything............get a stock Glock G19 barrel, and you're good to go.

As far as ammo availability................RELOAD.

I reload some .45 and .223 when I can, but being in med school time is increasingly hard to find. I'm doing good just to find time to shoot, much less time to load a few hundred rounds for a day at the range....

I understand.  "Time is the predator that stalks all men."  It's true.
