| I have a Glock 27 that I use for CCW. All my other handguns except for my S&W 442 and my 27 are 9mm. I purchased a LWD 40-9conversion barrel and it runs flawless other than I don't really like where it throws the spent brass back towards me. I am really wanting a 26 but am short on funds. If I was to use my conversion barrel for CCW what all should I change? My only problem now is the direction of the spent brass, that would be the ejector right? Or would you just say fuck it and run with the 40S&W through my 27? I guess deep down inside ( due to internet hype) I am scared of a kaboom and I can't get past it. It also would be nice to only have to stock 9mm for my handguns What would you do? |

Replace the trigger mechanism housing with a 9mm one. Also, stop listening to internet Glock bullshit. Do you know how many .40 Glock's there are in this world? This is the fix, no need for another 26 unless you really want to spend the $$. The 9mm ejector is canted towards the ejection port a little compared to the larger calibers. I actually thought I bent the one on my dad's G17 (I have a G22 and 27) so I ordered a new trigger mech. Looks identical to the "bent" one, o well, that's how ya learn. |
