| I just ordered a gen4 glock 23 for $463 out the door. Is this gun easy to conceal? What about holdsters? |

Congrats for your choice of what many of us consider the finest CCW style pistol made with the best combination of small size, light weight, reliability, concealability, high capacity, and leathality available today. 'Easy' is a relative term. Depends upon many variables, some unique to the wearer. I carry mine IWB in my Andrews Custom Leather, MacDaniel II and find it very compact and comfortable to wear all day. ![]() For OWB carry, my Don Hume paddle is great. It rides comfortably on my side and is easy to remove when necessary yet stays solid on my hip. ![]() ![]() BTW: TruGlo TFOs are a wise choice for your sights upgrade. ![]() |

great choice, I carry a G23C usually (LCP if not) and actually use a Glock sport/combat holster, I can't get used to the feeling of IWB holsters and other OWBs I've tried are too bulky or have a weird cant to them, I found the Glock holster in a drawer and tried it one day and instantly loved it, it holds the gun close to your body and adds very minimal bulk to the shape/thickness of the gun, for $15 or whatever they cost its worth a try (and I'm not a big guy but it still isn't hard to conceal depending on clothing)
just my .02 |

Watch out for the slide rails separating, the massive snappy wrist-breaking recoil, and, of course, the blowing-up in your hand........
Just kidding. Hundreds of LEAs can't be wrong. Well, not that wrong... I may be getting a 19 tomorrow. For what it's worth, I have some fellow Marine Reservists who use the G22/23 in Corrections and Law Enforcement and they always speak of their reliability, even after being misused, neglected, and worn. I have no idea where the large caliber Glock hate comes from, as the problems seem to have been dealt with by now. |
