hey guys, i bought a spring kit from Clockmeister for my G22. it came with EPM Magazine Springs that are 10% stronger. they are about 2" or so longer. im thinking they might be overkill. they want to push the front of the follower out of the mag. getting the 15th round in the mag is a no go. im going to leave one full to see if it eases up. they might be great with a +2 base plate, did a search but nothing came up. any info would be great.

I don't know anything about them.......................but that's because in my experience the stock springs work best.  Hell, if they won't allow the 15nth round into the mag, even when "new", then they're a no-go in my book.

Why are you changing them?

i bought a police trade in. i changed all the springs out on the gun. two mag springs were weak. the kit came with them, so i swapped them.(this is my first Glock btw)

Yeah, if it were me, and the mag springs were weak, I'd just get more stock springs.  Glockparts.com sells 'em, they're a good company to deal with.

Even if the thing came with these aftermarket springs, I'd go ahead and get stock springs..........I trust 'em more.

For stock mags with the stock base plate, I use factory springs. I do use X-power springs when I use the +2 base plates but in those cases I have only used Wolff springs. I have no experience with EPM springs

just the mag springs were aftermarket. the rest of the kit was factory Glock. i will work it out and post my findings.

I've owned a Glock since 1993, I have tried most of the after market stuff.

Glock part/pieces just work better and longer than the other stuff.
Get factory Glock springs and call it a day.

Yeah, I wouldn't use them even if running factory +2's, which I do, on alot of my G17 mags.  Just usin' the factory spring that was in there, no issues, no problems, they run 106%.
