Went to a friends house so my lady could shot her new G19 for the first time. Well she had problems with it feeding into the barrel after previous rounds ejected, (5 times). I cleaned the G19  twice since I bought if for her. Have a G19 myself. So not sure why It did what it did. Do you think it could have been the magazine or the ammo used. Only used one of the two magazine. Ammo used was Remington UMC 115 Grain. Should I contact Glock with this problem. Yes I m going to try different ammo and both magazine next time. Hope within a week. 50 rounds 5 feeding issues.

Thanks for any input....

Here are a few pictures,

Here is a picture of how she did. About 8 to 10 yards.

UPDATE

Took my ladies gen. 3 G19 to the range and ran 100 rounds down range and had no feeding proplems. Ran 50 rounds of Winchester white box and 50 rounds of Remington UMC, which is what she had problems with. So all is good and now all I need is to get her back to the range. So it was her, not the ammo or the gun.

Thanks

Just a few initial reactions. Remington UMC ammo is known for being very underpowered and causing problems. Don't take this the wrong way, but that coupled with the fact that you've got a female shooter who may be limping it a bit could easily lead to these kind of stoppages.

I understand what you are saying. But I loaded the gun each time with 5 rounds each. It happen after a round was ejected with rounds still in the magazine. She had lots of problems loading the gun with blank rounds.

Did you or anyone else shoot the firearm? If so, did you have the same failures?

I put 5 rounds down range. No proplems. But I going to put a couple hundred rounds in it within a week

Considering that the OP fired the weapon and it performed well, I am going to go with the above in red.

But if it were a gen 4, it would be the recoil springs fault.

Similar thing recently happened to me with a Ruger SRC9c that I bought for my wife.  She had multiple stovepipes & double-feeds with it fresh-out-of-the-box.  I ran 10 rounds through it without incident and chalked it up to break in period.  Then I bought her some private training time with an LEO instructor - guess what?  It fed beautifully.  She was limp-wristing the gun.

My neighbor came over with a brand new CZ 40 cal. compact (not sure which model).  He said it was a piece of crap, and wouldn't run through a complete mag.  I put twenty or so rounds through it without a hiccup.  I told him to stop limp wristing it, which he took great offense to.  He said that he couldn't keep a gun that he had no faith in, so he took it back to Gander Mountain.  He traded it in for a kimber ultra.  It's doing the same thing.

While I understand the argument I don't agree with it.  I personally think a revolver doesn't make it any more easier for a new shooter, except the limp-wrist issue.  I still stand by teh fact a .22 (in either revolver or auto) is the best way to start.
