Hello
i did a search but came up with nothing. I am trying to find out if anyone has had a problem with the finger right under the finger guard on their glocks get soar and hurts like hell. I have been shooting glocks since they came out and just recently my finger has really been taking a beating . So is there anyone with any experience or reason this may be happening? thanks |

Removed the hump, removed finger grooves, undercut the trigger guard. I probably could have just had the trigger guard undercut to fix it but the hump and the finger grooves pissed me off too. |

Yeah, an undercut of the trigger guard might be right up your alley! |

I'm wondering if this has to do with how the G19 fits (or doesn't) some people. The 19 fits my smaller hands perfectly and I have never experienced "Glock finger." That's me. While I really like my 19, the grooves "compact" my fingers while griping the pistol. 17 fits me much better. I have a little more room between my fingers in the grip. |

For a training class or if you plan on a lot of shooting, you can always get some athletic tape to wrap around your middle finger in the spot where it contacts the trigger guard.

I have a pretty dumb question Looks like powder residue. Probably depends on what brand ammo you are shooting and how dirty (the ammo) is. |

Yeah, an undercut of the trigger guard might be right up your alley! It's got an undercut, it's just not large enough for my fat fingers. The abrasive finish makes it even worse. I plan on smoothing the area with a Dremel. |

Many people will get them customized with an even deeper undercut than the factory undercut. |

Yeah, it's a stocker other than the LW barrel. The finger grooves force my hand up right into the abrasive edge of the factory undercut. I figured some smoothing might help. I've never seen one with the undercut made larger, but it didn't look like the trigger guard had enough meat to make the undercut much bigger. Making it larger + smoother would be better still. |

Cold bore gets $10 for an undercut. http://www.coldborecustom.com/Services.html I don't see any good pics of the job on the site. Perhaps texaspo will stop by with a pic. |

I didnt think you could get residue on the slide unless you were shooting like 6'' from the target and catching the powder that blows back |
It would be nice to see some pics.
