hello all
I have been noticing the price of glock gen3 prices going down.

It has raised a question does that mean glock will quit making these and focus only on the new gen4?
And all of us will be left with guns we can't get parts for anymore?
I mean what is the future going to offer to be able to continue to do all of own repairs on our Gen3 Glocks?

Should a guy start waiting for the Gen4 models to come out and trade the gen3's off on them or what?

Gen 3's are the most popular Glocks in the world and most common so i doubt there will ever be a shortage of parts and im sure theyll continue to make them for quite a while so u got nothing to worry about

You can still buy parts for the Gen 1 guns and the original Gen 1 mags, so I doubt you won't be able to get parts.

I wouldn't worry about parts.

I have a feeling that the 5th gen Glock is going to be a 3rd gen.

3rd gen parts are going to be around for quite a while. Many of the Gen4 parts (not all) are the same as the Gen3 parts too.

I doubt they have any plans to stop making Gen 3's anytime soon.............probably still be makin' 'em 10 years from now, depending on how Gen 4 sells/progresses.

Parts will be around as long as Glock exists, I reckon.

Yes, you will always be able to get parts for your GLOCK.

they will make parts for many years to come. plus most of the parts in the gen4 are compatible with the gen3.
