i just got some free +2 extensions with my CDNN order, do i need to run different mag springs in order for these to work?

Unless they're factory Glock #7151 + 2 extensions throw those things in the trash... If they are factory Glock you can use them without any changes in magazine springs...

doubt they're factory, that's probably why i got em for free what makes them so shitty?

I've seen the CDNN freebies, if you had a Glock factory +2 to compare it with you'd see the CDNN extensions have very little material around the top where the extension engages the rails on the bottom of the magazine, Glock +2's have a very different profile which gives them much greater support.  The CDNN extension is made of a softer and more flexible material making it prone to pop off at the worst moments...

If you want to use +2's stick with Glock #7151 extension and the #7165 insert...

No you need to do yourself a favor, throw those in the garbage, and buy some Glock factory +2's.  They're the only +2's worth a shit, unless Arredondo makes something similar.

I run them...........they're 100%, no need to change springs, for my G17 mags, anyway.
