Glock 19 RTF > Glock

Does anyone have one? I have hears that the RTF is going to be discontinued when Gen4 comes out.

I've seen a few run through the local gun shops. Handled them a few times. I've also heard the RTF is going away once they've sold off all the frames they have already molded. The Gen4 is the wave of the future...

Gen4 feels better I want a Gen3 with the 4 feel.

+1 on gen4's texture feeling better. I think they got that right on. The RTF2 was way too sandpapery for me.

I clicked on this thread thinking it was 'Glock 19 Run-to-Failure'. I thought it would be a story about a Glock quitting after 80k rounds or something.

I just bought a 22 RTFgen4 and I really like the feel. I have medium size hands but I like it without any of the extra grips (med and lg). I'm not sure if all of you know but the gun only comes with two additional grips (med and lg). So again, for the smallest grip you simply leave the gun alone and if you want to increase the grip you can place a medium or large grip backstrap on.

I bought one last week and i like it. It really stays planted in my hand while firing. The frame fits my hand well so I didnt feel like waiting for the gen 4.

RTF is the standard GEN2/3. RTF2 is what you are talking about here, and RTF3 is what the GEN4 has.

I have 2 RTF2 G17's and love them. Maybe if they discontinue them mine will be worth more.

G19RTF2 owner here. I carry it for work and it's a great weapon. The grip feels better than the regular Gen 3's, personally.

I have one and I like it. All my other GLOCKs are 3rd gen. But I really like the RTF2 on my 19.Plus it has GLOCK night sights. I am gonna do my best to wear this pistol out.

My other 2 19's are the proof marked ones from a while back. They are now pretty much safe queen's....
