just curious as to what additions/mods you use with your ccw glock. mine is a full size g22 with a 25cent trigger job and a 3.5lb connector. night sights are going to be added shortly. poll inbound. |

A G19 has been my primary CCW for almost 20 years now. Lighter trigger pull ('smith tuned), tritium 3-dots, LaserMax guide-rod laser (zero problems after many years/thousands of rounds), stock magazines w/ Wolff springs, and no white light for CCW (though all my HD guns have them), but I always have a handheld light on me. IWB carry –– a couple of different nice leather rigs in the past, but a CTAC these days. |

Me, it's usually a G17, and/or G23/9. Both have NY1 Trigger Springs installed, w/ stock 5.5 Connector. G17 has HiViz fiber optic front, red (newer encapsulated type). G23/9 has stock sights. Wife's G19 has Trijicon 3-dot greens, and standard Trigger Spring w/ stock 5.5 Connector. Have some +2s on some of the G17 mags (factory Glock, of course). Those are carried in gun and on person. G23/9 has LWD 9mm conversion barrel in it. (hence my designation of "G23/9" Other than that, bone stock. LWD barrel and factory +2s are 100% reliable. |

excellent this is good info. i just added xs sights to the wifies g19 and have not yet had a chance to shoot it (been way to damn cold!) if i like them ill be getting a set for my g22. my g21sf im not sure what ill get yet as im going to be adding a aac ti-rant to it. so ill have to find some high rise sights for it, hopefully night sights... |
| In my Wonderful state not able to CCW but I would take my 23 with it's night sights, and my light carried with me since I don't have a holster that the light could stay on the gun which since I can't CCW isn't a big deal for me right now. But down the road might possibly be. I also have the extended slide release on my Glocks just a personal preference and have no problems with it. (thumbs are out of the way) |

I own a dozen glocks...I just counted and realized that... wow, anyhow.
They are all exactly the same... all bone stock except for some sort of night sights (either glock factory when I can find them on sale, or mepros) and I polish the trigger parts and the feed ramp on every one. There is no point in adding or subtracting anything from a glock. They can do whatever you want right out of the box. I only add NS because I would like to have that tiny advantage if it ever came down to it. I used to have every gizmo that you can put on a glock, and I would read some posts by some old gunners who would say that a stock glock is all that you need. Well, after lots of wasted money, and some serious time at the ranch doing drills, I have to agree. |
