I was able to get out to the range with new G34 the other day.  The first few shots I had failure to feeds.  But a quick scrub of the feed ramp with the nylon brush that came with the gun solved that problem (for the most part).  After that I was able to rapid fire the whole 17 rd mag without a problem.  There were a few more FTFs but I'm fairly certain the problem will go away with time.  I only shot 150rds.  The ammo was PMC 115gr FMJ.  I did finish off with 10 Speer Gold Dot 124gr JHPs.  Those fired without issue.  I was really impressed with the light recoil and minimal muzzle rise.  It was almost effortless to keep on target.

I think I have had the same issues with the cheap PMC ammo in my 9mm ARs.....it seems a bit under powered.

No saying this was your problem, by my Glock 35 with 9mm barrel in it will have failures with some under powered reloads that I had loaded that worked fine in my XD....I think the extra slide weight gives the light loads the trouble.

Mine works fine with everything else, including the cheap Wally World 100rd winchester bulk packs.

PMC ammo always gives me issues in my pistols with full cycling.  The Winchester WB always cycles and works properly.

Roger, I will get a hold of some WWB or some Federal and see if it does any better.  Like I said it did fine with the Speer Gold Dots so the "light loads" may be the problem.

My guess is that after it's had about 200 rnds through it, it'll be good to go.
