1. How come no rails on the model 36?

2. I have an older generation Glock 23. Is there some sort of program to replace/upgrade the frame?

!. 36 is too small and narrow.

2. No, unless you want to send it to Glock and pay around 150 (I think) for a new frame. Or get that gadget from Brownell's that screws to the underside of the dustcover, providing you with a rail.
