[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Slide engraving

Does anyone know where I can purchase a spare GLOCK 22 slide and place to have it engraved? I have a friend who is about to retire with our agency with 30yrs and I want to do up something nice for him.

I would give Lone Wolf a call. I'm sure you could buy a slide from them and have them engrave it at the same time.

My unit did a special deal w/ glock and had the unit logo engraved thru an out-source for private purchases after a deployment. FYI, the finish on a glock makes it very difficult to engrave and keep clarity/quality in the logo/design. Sorry but I dont know who did it, just that there were problems and the engraving is less than spectacular.
