I want to get this conversion barrel for my G22. If I get a G17 later on, will it fit ?

Nope the G17 slide is different from the G22 G31 slide the ejection port is longer on the .40/.357. If you got the barrel for your G22 why would you need a G17??? The barrel would in theory make your G22 a G17.

The barrel would be a temporary way for me to shoot 9mm. If you noticed, the barrel is threaded for suppressor use; once I get a suppressor I would make the G17 my dedicated suppressor gun with raised sights.

As others have said, no, it will absolutely not fit or run in a G17.
