how do you like it?

How does it compare to the 26,27,36,30, etc?

I think it may be my first 10mm.

Only reason I'm not considering the G20 is I really don't intend to buy handguns I can't carry (yes I know it CAN be carried, but I won't carry anything larger than a G19).

I met a guy while doing a FTF sale a few months ago and we got to talking about CCW pistols.  Turned out he was carrying a G20 IWB and he was skinny and it didn't print at all.

A G30 was my primary CCW piece for a few years before switching to a G19 and while the G19 is a tad narrower the main reason I switched was because the grip was longer allowing me to present the pistol better/faster.

It feels like a G30 with a short grip. You WILL need to replace the mag floorplate with a Pearce type with a pinky extension. I love mine and carry it daily IWB and it just disappears under a T-shirt. The ammo is a little pricey but not much more than .45 these days. Recoil is not bad at all even with the stout 175 Silvertips I carry.

Edit: Buy several G20 mags to carry as backups!

The 10mm is a debilitating disease that is currently causing me to sell off all my other Glocks to fund my 10mm illness.

I have a G20 with night sights, 2 extra Glock 10mm barrels, one Storm lake barrel, 10 15 round mags.

I also have a G29 with night sights.

Just also acquired a ton of handloading stuff, and am cranking out my own 10mm defense ammunition.

Currently loading 200 grain Hornady XTP's with IMR 800X  (not reloads, new loads.)

(You will be following shortly behind me.)

How does the shorter barrel of  the G29 do with 10mm ammo?  I always thought that the 10mm was a round that really needed at least 4" of barrel to achieve good results (more like 6" or even longer for best results)

The general rule is to deduct 15-18% velocity loss with every inch decrease in barrel length.
