I tried a search but didn't really come up with an answer..... I am looking for a set of sights for a G19 with a tritium front dot and plain rear sight, no inserts. Also, the plain factory sights on it now do not quite have enough light on the sides of the front sight for my old eyes. Any suggestions?

Thanks

10-8.

Get the bigger U notch, .140 vs .125. Will help with "light gathering".

You can buy Warrens with a tritium front sight and plain rears.

You can buy the Ameriglow night front sight separately, not too costly and it comes with a front sight tool for installation.

I received one in part of a trade.  I however did not like the sight picture of the stock rear sight and the ameriglow front.

87 this looks to be exactly what I want.... any recommended dealers? I am seeing them for about $127, but if anyone knows of a better deal let me know.

Thanks

Brownells has the 10-8 front and rear set for Glocks for $55 (if you have an account, if not it's $69).  It is the .125 but if you call they will probably sell you the .140 for the same price.  I have the plain 10-8 rear with a tritium front on my 1911 and I love it

I know Tango Down sells them...but I don't know if the price is better or worse than that ($127).

Note, this is the all black, non tritium set.

Just a note about the 10-8 set, the front sight does not have a white paint ring around the tritium vial which you may or may not like.  I don't care for that set up so I use a .140" 10-8 rear with a Warren Tactical front.

Thanks for that info.... I do like the white outline. I assume that front sight height is the same for both?

You'll need the .215" height Warren.

Novak.  They sell a tritium front and plain black rear.  I have a similar setup on my G19, only I went with the white dot front instead.

Aro-tek also makes a tritium front/black rear combo:

I like the white outline as well.

I wonder if you could use a standard size (not big dot) XS sight for the front and find a correct height 10-8 rear U notch setup for Glocks ?

Exactly my mindset as well. I put Ameriglows on the front of my Glocks, and black out the rear sights with a black Sharpie.  Crude - but effective (for me).

Glock on!
