I've got a LWD barrel on its way for my pistol and have a question.  I think that the LWD logo is teh ghey. It obviously wasn't enough to keep me from buying it but just wondering if anybody has gotten rid of said logo? GunKote? File? Polish it out? Or am I the only one who doesn't like it?

That is a good question I ordered one and I am still waiting for it to come in and I bet it can be polished off.

It's pretty deep.  i hit one with a few passes of a file and didn't make a dint in it.  It does kind of grow on you though and it didn't bother me for the 5 years I had it.  I had to get it replaced, so I asked for one without logo.

Yeah, the logo is about the only thing I don't like about it.

Pretty deep though.  Dremel tool or engraving tool, but the outline will still be there.

I opted to pay extra for no logo, but they just move it to the bottom of the barrel.  Looks like a cartoon wolf, to bad they don't make it fierce looking 'cause they make great products and have excellent customer service.

Yes, you can pay extra to not have the logo.

To me it's just a minor annoyance to an otherwise great barrel though.
