I am sure a lot of you have Safariland holsters for your Glocks. I am hoping you can help me out.
I have had a G35 for several years and I have been using a Safariland 6280 for a G22 that I remolded to take the longer barrel of the G35. The problem is that it leaves the last 3/4" of the muzzle exposed including the front sight. I have been thinking about switching to a 6280 that is capable of carrying the G35 with a light attached. However, I also have a 2nd Gen G22 that I use regularly. I see that the Safariland 6280-6832 that I want WILL work with or without a light. So that leads me to my questions... Can anyone confirm that the Safariland holster (6004, 6280, 6285, etc) made for the G35 with a light, specifically the -6832 variant, will work with a G22 without a light mounted even though it is designed for the G34/35? Also, does anyone know if the Safariland holsters for the G34/35 without a light will work with the G22 as well? Thanks for your help! Matt |
