I'm looking to add some night sights to my G19 and possibly a few other pistols.

I know its probably more preference than anything else, but what brand is recommended?

Glock
Ameriglo
Trijicon
Mepro

TruGlo TFO (Tritium/Fiber Optic)
They are well built, bright at night, Insanely bright in daylight, great price point.
All 4 of our personal Glocks and our Advantage Arms kit wear them.

And very cool arfcom vendors (shameless self plug ) carry them.... here.
Reguardless of where you buy them... they are amazing.

All of our dept glocks use the Trijicon and they rock. I recently bought a G26 a few months back with factory glock night sights and they're just as good.

Go with what your budget can afford.

I have trijicon on my 36 and just got a set of meprolites on my 19 yesterday.  I like them both but I think that the mepro's are more easily visable in the daylight since they have a white ring around the tubes.

not on the list, but XS 24/7 big dots, best combat sight out there.

AMERIGLO

They use trijicon tritium, and they have more sighting options out there than any other company.

Use GSSF as a coupon code too, and you can get nearly any sight they sell for 75 bucks.

My personal favorite is the ameriglo pro-operator.

Trijicon/Ameriglo/XS all use matte white rings around their tritum, so they are very visible during the day.

Glock brand/Meprolight use a white ring around the tritium, but they put a protective glossy coating over the entire thing.  In sunlight, they glare horribly and are very distracting to me.

I have a set of yellow/green Pro Operators on the G26... so for a brand recommendation I would go with Ameriglo.

Trijicon for the strength and Green/Yellow for speed at night.

I did night sights on my three glocks.  I have found though I shoot better if I ignore the dots and concentrate on the shapes.  An interesting point someone once made to me was, if it's dark enough you can't see your sights, you probably can't what you're shooting at.  All things to consider.

That said, I will always have tritium's on my carry gun.  I get mepros at a local store who installs them for less than $7 (free if I get the right sales person).  Installation on a glock takes either the rear sight tool or a drift and hammer if you're willing to bang the sights on.   Some front sights are staked and some are supposed to have a tiny nut holding them on.  If I were to try it myself, I would look for the nut type front and put a drop of loc-tite on it.

I'm partial to the Warren Tactical 2 dot sights, personally. All my Glocks and M&P's wear them.

I just put some of the XS Big Dot's on one of my 19's last night... I am holding my judgment until I shoot with them... but installation was easy... took me 5 minutes.

+1 on the XS Big Dot Sights.  I've got them on my G27 and wil be putting them on my G23....and eventually the shotgun version on my Rem. 870.

One of the good things about the Glock platform is the ease with which you can install aftermarket sights. This makes them an ideal platform to use as a research gun to find the sights best suited to an individual's needs.

This is my set-up for my G20 and I like it enough to recommend it. It's the best value I found for quality night sights.

I run Truglo TFO's on all three of my glocks.

They are bright at night and during the day.

My favorite part about them are they are good in all light conditions.
And I run Green/Green.

I own a G19, G30, and G21

Truglo TFO is the only way to go.  Great day and night use.  snag free with conceal carry.
