I'm thinking about trying to find a spray Rubberized coating and using it on my G19 lower. Has anyone tried this? I'm mainly curious if anyone has had very negative effects. And for clarification, I'm not going to use a Plastidip-type product, I want something that will perform in all conditions. Plastidip-type products would be a nightmare if my hands were sweaty...

In my humble opinion, a rubber coating seems to be a less-than-ideal solution.
It would increase the grip size and could actually become more slippery under certain conditions.
I think a smart stippling or texturizing would be a more fool-proof method of gaining traction...

I agree, it would increase the grip curcumference.  But of course, those slip-on grips do that too, and alot of folks like them.

I wonder if it would be feasible to have truck bedliner sprayed onto the grip?  Might be kinda cool.

I think the problem is that I know exactly what I'm looking for, but have never found it in something I can purchase. I'll probably spend hours researching and never end up coating it, haha.

Did you look at http://www.herculiner.com/

I tried it on some stuff at home and it is extreemly high quality and it has tiny bits of rubber in it that make for an excellent grip. It's far better then anything in a spray can. You can also applie it very thin which you cant do with spray on stuff.

I got mine from NAPA for $28.00.

You are really going to have to do your prep work.  Don't fill the rails, watch the mag release on the opposite side, the area where the slide release runs is close tolerance also.  The groove for the trigger etc.  Of course you can't get it anywhere on the inside.
