I found out that if you field strip a Glock 17 and then put it back together sans guide rod and spring, the pistol doesn't want to be field stripped again. The slide just didn't want to come off That's all  |

After 5 mins of mucking with it I finally got the slide and barrel off. I was shooting over lunch , sort of rushed, field stripped the 17 to lube it, forgot to put the recoil spring and guide rod in place. LOL |
