I picked up a used, that you couldn't tell from new, (seriously) Glock 22 yesterday in San Antonio. I gave 459 for it, but started to go with a new one instead, but the extra $100 changed my mind.
Has anyone seen the new one with the anti slip grip and slide serations that look like  )))))  rather than the regular IIIIIII ?  and before someone asks, yes it was factory.
The grip consists of an large number of very small raised studs on the front, back, and sides of the grip. It really grabs your hand for a very nice secure grip.

i think you are reffering to the new 4th generation glock, with the funky slide serrations. personally i think they are butt-ugly, but i am also sure at heart it's still a Glock...

BTW congrats on the 22!

If the 4th gen didn't have those serations thet'd be alot more popular.  I'd like to try that new grip.

When the heck did they come out with this? The gun shop guy (worker, not owner) said he didn't really know what the deal was, only that it was pretty cool.  If it had been a 17 I would have coughed up the extra $100.  Do they offer RTF in all models as of now? or only certain ones?
I could do without the ))))) slide serations, they didn't seem to grab the hand as well as the traditional vertical serations, but the grip texture gave me a serious polymer woody.

has anyone carried the RTF framed G22 in the waistband yet?  I'm wondering how that sandpaper grip feels against the love handle?
