I need some solid info.   Is an Ambi mag release available on the G17?

I have a bunch of mags with ambi cuts, but I am getting zero solid information

on an ambi mag release being either a stock option or an after market add on.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Are you talking about this?

If so, it says it will fit all glocks and calibers.

The G17 with a factory ambi mag release is designated the MB and has only been released in Europe at the moment.

No, he's talking about the stock, factory pistols that have the ambi release.

As far as I know, they're not available in the US yet, only the SF framed pistols are available this way.

Bradd_D,   thanks for that link.    It answered my question.   I find it curious that with as universally accepted as this platform is that this ambidextrous release issue hasn't been more of a consumer demand.

It seems that southpaws find it easier to use the standard mag release with their trigger fingers than using their thumb to use the ambi-mag release.

I have a ambi on my 21SF and love it.  I wish all of my Glocks had one.
