| I am a huge 1911 fan and I was trying to get info on H&K's new 1911 on the H&K section and a guy stated that he heard Glock was coming out with a 1911 version. Now is this crazy talk or are there any Glock insiders on this board that can fill us in? |
| I've heard this rumor a few times over the past 2 years. As far as I know it's exactly that -- a rumor. I guess there is a chance that one day it will be truth, but I doubt it. Glock seems to not want to come out with any other models of pistols otherwise it would defeat their marketing campaign of "Glock Perfection". "Why come out with a new style pistol when you've already achieved perfection?" they would say. |
