| I have a normal G22 that I shoot often. Last month I had a chance to put rounds through my cousins Compensated G22 and I really did not notice much of a difference in perceived recoil. Maybe just me, but felt much like my g22. Also, I shot it with the same ammo I normally use. |

I find it hard to believe all these people who voted no have ever shot a "C" model (or spent enough time to evaluate one). I recently talked someone into buying a Glock. When we went to the gun store the only 17 they had was a 17C. I was against the "C" model (for all the typical reasons people who have not shoot one have) but told him he should get it because of the limited supply these days. After shooting it I was 100% sold on it. No, the 17 does not have much muzzle flip, but cut it in half (as the "C" model does) and you notice a huge difference. You get back on target in about half the time.
I liked it so much I bought my own. I have shoot it back to back with it's stock barrel and the (below) LW non-ported barrel and there is a big difference. I have not shot it at night, but those who have say the flash from the ports in a NON-issue.
