Glocks are my favorite and this is the Glock forum so I'll say sell the XD and buy a 30SF and a 21SF.(have to admit only heard good things about XD's but your in Glock territory so ....)

btw a xd45c and a G30, i'd take the Glock hands down over the XD series for a defensive firearm...YMMV

FWIW: pros on the G30
-takes hi-cap G21 spares
-11 rnds of .45acp in a very concealable package
-glock attributes: cost effectiveness (in parts, mags, acc.), RELIABILITY, durablity, and longevity
-very accurate and smooth shooter in this platform

"cons"
-wider and bulkier vs the XDc or a compact G19/23
-trigger: glock trigger pull gets some use to, contour and pull "suck" for those who like good triggers
-on the std G30, the grip width was uncomfortable for some, but imo, the SF fits a LOT better

as to the XD (i have not owned the XD45c, but the XD9, shot others, etc)
pros:
-initial ergos on the XD series "fits" most users better vs a glock (grip angle, size, etc)...that said many become accustomed to whatever grip they opt for
-size and compactness...in some areas, the XD is more "compact" vs similar sized glocks

'cons'
-XD triggers are nicer physically, but the reset sucks (vs a glock), its mushy and not too great overall
-XD reliability: you will find a LOT of XD users happy with thier XDs and very satisfied with thier reliability...h/w, btw glocks and XDs in real heavy use (training, matches, etc), XDs go down or have way more reliability problems vs glocks....YMMV
-parts, longevity, and durability: SA offers great CS backing (as does glock), but the XD is alittle more complicated to do armory work on AND parts availability is limited to a few aftermarket sources
-mags: the weakest part of the XD series imo are the mags...leading to most of the reliabiltiy problems in the field––YMMV
