I am a big Sig guy, never owned a Glock, but shot my buddies G23 and really liked it. I have smaller hands and it really fit me well.
Not knowing a thing about Glocks, I'll ask the question. Is it worrisome at all that the .40 Glocks have an unsupported chamber? I have seen pictures from time to time of the KaBoom phenomenon, but I just dismissed it as people using hand loads. What say you Glock fans? Is the unsupported chamber theory pretty much all hype if you stick to factory loads? Thanks. |
| Overblown. I don't reload so don't care. I've checked a lot of my fired casings and can't see any sign of bulges. Fired cases "look" the same out of my Kahr. Somebody will post about how they reload cases multiple times w/ no problems. If it was, Glocks would not be #1 w/ L.E.. Buy one, you won't regret it and it won't be the last one you buy. |

I have a total of 5 Glocks. (22, 2 23's, 27, 19) 4 are .40 SW.
Never have worried about the unsupported chamber. My G22 has been my duty weapon for 11 years now. (the others are CCW and plinking) I have had 1 FTE round in probably 8,000 rds fired with my G22. Get one, you will like it. |
I hate that when they work together on me....
