| Is it possible to remove the internal lock mechanism on the Glock. I did some trading for a Glock 34 that has it and I want to have a grip reduction done and need this removed first. Thanks in advance. |

Since you are getting a grip reduction done, you may still be alright gutting the lock out. The reason being, most grip reductions involve ruining the grip in the first place.
Granted, that usually only involves filling the area where the lock is now, with resin, then sizing it down for the grip reduction. But since some form of resin is being used anyway, you should be able to accomplish the same thing once you rip the lock out. With that being said: Why would you need to do a grip reduction on a 9mm Glock? And the person doing the reduction should know whether or not they are capable of handling the job with the ILS installed. If they don't know, I would go somewhere else for the job. |
