I bought a used Glock 23 the other day. 2nd gen. Is in very good cond, finsih wise. Mechanics seemed fine. Ran 1 mag of ammot thru it. NO malfunctions, all fine. Shoots where I want it to, etc. This morning I picked it up, worked the action (no ammo in it), and noticed trigger had NOT reset. The "safety lever" did not come forward etc. I can return it where I got it, but would just as soon fix it. Any ideas? Had to go to work, so no time to mess with it this morning either.

Thanks much

take the slide off first and compare what you see in the frame/trigger area to parts diagrams, should be easy to fix.

Thanks, Broken trigger spring. I have been fooling with guns for a long time, and could not believe how easy the Glock is to work on. I am going to order a Wolff service pack and replace all the springs. Thanks again.

See?  You figured it out even before I could get home from work, read this, and tell ya TRIGGER SPRING!

Isn't it nice how easy they are to work on?  And replacement parts are so cheap.  This is why I usually replace most of the springs in a used one.  Cheap insurance.

Trigger springs are about the only things that ever break in glocks.  I upgraded all of mine with the next heavier spring.

Problem solved.

Yeah, I actually use NY1 springs in all mine.  They aren't gonna break.

How'd the trigger spring break?  Did it break in half or did it break off the trigger housing or trigger bar?

It broke about 1/8" in front of the housing.

Thanks for all the help.
