Guys, all 3 of my G17 glock mags have a crack in the steel lips on the front side (bullet numbering side).

Is this normal?  Never payed that much attention until now.  Taking care of those babies!!!

There is a seam in the metal liner on the BACK, not front of the G17 mags, it is normal. Mine are all right between the M's where it says 9MM.

I do have some small cracks on the FRONT of some of my G17 mags. Doesn't affect function, but I'll keep an eye on it.
