| Has anyone ever used a Ciener(?) or other .22 conversion on thier 19. Are they good or bad? TIA, Errol |

Don't forget to pick up the mag loader, really saves the thumb. www.advantagearms.com/conversion_kit.html |

I've never used the Advantage Arms kit, but I have heard great things about it. Regarding the Ceiner, it's complete POS. The one I had only cycled and/or fired about half the time, even after being "reworked" for $100 by Ciener. After several hours of polishing and tuning, I finally got the thing to run halfway decently. They're not worth the trouble. PS....My AR15 Ceiner kit does run like a champ with any ammo I've thrown at it.... |
What slide is that for the Glock? Is it really made by GemTech? |
Gemtech sold the Advantage Arms kit for a while. Apparently enough of them had problems that Gemtech no longer sells them. In fact, I no longer own the one in the picture. I sent mine back because I couldn't make it through a full mag without a jam. Considering the great reputation these things have I expected better. There was about a three week turn around and Advantage ended up replacing the slide, so I lost the Gemtech logo, but the unit I recieved back has been flawless. I LOVE this thing! |
