I'm doing the practice and research in preparation to stipple the grip on my Glock 36.  One thing I don't understand.  How do you stipple the areas of the grip that have the factory "checkering".  Do you sand those areas down first before the stippling?

You can dremel them flat if your looking to do a grip reduction as well, or you can fill them in w/ epoxy.

Ok That makes sense.  I appreciate the help.  The more I think about this the more I lean toward having a pro do it might be the best way to go.  I'd hate to make a $500 gun into junk to save a hundred bucks.


PS Did you ever get a pic of that stippling tool?  How much do you guys charge to get rid of the finger grips and do the stipple job?
