I've come across a deal on the net of glock 19's w/ night sights and 2 mags for $395 + shipping and what ever my FFl charges to do the trans.($25). I believe these are LE turn ins. Is this the best deal out there or do you know of something better. And yes I seached local, no one comes close on used and gun broker looked higher also.

CDNN has similar deals. Any idea what generation these Glocks are? That will determine the "life expectancy" of the night sights. Other than that, a G19 is a G19 - an excellent gun, regardless of generation. Police guns are almost always super buys as they are carried a lot but shot very little.

The price you mentioned is very good. I'd buy it if I were you.

out of gen3's

I've got a gen 2 sitting at my FFL...will be picking it up on friday along with a 92FS and model 67 I ordered from him.  My FFL took a look at it and told me it was dusty...really dusty

Not sure of current prices but if it's on the lower end, buy it.

Glocks are so easy to work on/troubleshoot it's not a big deal as long as the thing doesn't look beat on.
