I recently picked up a g22 for cheap. So cheap I worried it was stolen. I called the sheriff's department and luckily it is not stolen. I already have 3 people offering me 50% more than I paid. It is tempting.

I am trying to debate if I need this gun or not. I already have a g19 and a g35. I don't see myself really needing the gun for anything besides hoarding more high capacity pistols lol.

If you paid 200$ for a 3rd gen g22 would you hold onto it or sell it for a nice profit?

The answer to your question is specific to each individual based on finances, personal preference, etc.

You purchased something for $200 that you could now sell for $300.

Do you need that $300 to put towards something else?

Do you need to pay down $300 worth of bills or add to your savings / investment / emergency fund?

These are all highly individual questions.

I'd keep it, can't have too many glocks.

Hell, you could sell the frame alone for $200.00
And then the slide and barrel for $150.00

The real question is, do "you" want to?

if you can make a few bucks on the deal then why not. if you dont need the gun for anything specific then Id unload it. but thats just me

I'd like to get an aimpoint or a 20'' a2 upper. That would be the only thing I'd maybe want right now. However, I am tempted to keep the 22 for a beater. I do a decent bit of outdoors crap and it could be the work horse.

Keep it. Take the money you saved and get an Advantage Arms .22 conversion slide and turn it into a dedicated .22LR Glock.

I shot it today. I put 100 rounds threw it and my g35. The 22 shoots great but I had my first glock malfunction with it. I had a 15 round mag packed to the gills with WWB and had my first FTF. First time in over 5k rounds I have had a glock malfunction. Luckily my carry g19 is still 100%. I loaded a couple more mags and shot rapid fire again as fast as possible with no malfunctions from the g22. I'm not sure what happened.

I wouldn't be concerned over Win White Box FTE/FTF; they're notoriously underpowered

I went threw all my glocks, rem 700 and ar15 tonight for a nice cleaning. I realized the g22 was soaking wet, I put way to much clp on it. That probably didn't help anything. I went threw them all and lubed them accordingly.

I went threw the AR because I have probably put 500 rounds of wolf threw it since its  last cleaning. It was nasty to say the least. I have shot thousands of rounds of wolf with zero malfunction. 2-3k of WWB 9mm with no problems and just 1 ftf in .40.

Overall I have been very happy with the reliability of all my weapons. Not one single malfunction from my mak90, ar15, g19, g35 or Taurus pt99 (1988 model).

Unless you are just hard up for some quick cash, I would definatly keep it. Use it for a truck or 4 wheeler pistol/ beater. It is a great model....you may just end up likeing it.

I do like it. So much that I have thrown up the idea of selling my g35 instead.
