I purchased a used Glock 22 Missouri State Highway Patrol model and I am thinking of replacing the guide rod and spring.  Can someone please give me some information on a good company to go with.  I have been looking at the ones on Topglock.com or just getting a factory one to replace mine.  Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

i'd recommend sticking to stock, factory glock guild rod/spring assemblies

part #, i believe, is 5579

midwayusa, brownells, glock parts, etc all have em

that said, if you want a aftermarket, say stainless steel rod, then some good assemblies can also be found

Honestly, I would stick with another stock spring and guide rod unit.

This is coming from someone who has had and used lots of Wolff and ISMI springs and guide rods.

Wow guys thank you for the quick responses and I am thinking stock is the best way to go (plus cheaper)...  I guess I was looking to see if there was a benefit over stock going to one of those stainless ones.
