How much +P ammo a year or in it's lifetime can a Glock 21SF handle.

If you used an 18 or 19# spring on a steel guide rod that it would probably take a lifetime of +P ammo. I know people who run +P on the stock rod with no ill effects.

The Glock can handle it, stock.  For addtional peace of mind, you can go up a pound or two, or invest in one of those dual buffers...

Shoot the G-21 like it is , you do not need to change anything. Most people will not be able to afford enough +p ammo to hurt the G-21

I agree with the previous posts, the platform is pretty solid, I'd keep it stock and shoot at will.  I have been shooting reloads (on the hot side to replicate the +P Gold Dots I use for carry) out of my range G21SF for over a year without any sign of stress or wear.

I wouldn't worry about wearing out a Glock

The large frame Glocks were designed for the pressures of the full house 10mm.So +P .45 ACP should be no problem.
