I picked up a new G21SF yesterday at the gun show. After nearly a year of looking I finally found the one with the Glock rail and single sided mag release! I have not shot the pistol yet, but I can rack the slide, etc. and everything seems fine. However, when I disassemble the pistol and pull the slide off of the frame, the guide rod and spring always fall out. It is as if there is no spring pressure to hold it in place. I have the spring seated in the proper spot on the barrel and it does require some compression to get it into place. But for whatever reason, it is always loose when I remove the slide. My G19 doesn't do that, so I'm a little confused. What gives? |
