I want to get a .22LR conversion kit for my Glock 19 but am not sure which to get...Advantage Arms or Ciener?  Any recommendations and why you would choose them?  Also, where can I get the best price?

Thanks,
Mark

I have the AA kit on my G26. It is great with standard velocity and mini mag CCI's. Some subsonics are hit n miss with cycling with the suppressor attached. It's not tack driving acurate but I can hit the target with no problems. I am not real familiar with the Ciener kits on Glocks. I wish I would have bought one for the 19 instead since I always bring it the range anyways.

I bought a Advantage Arms conversion kit for my G19.  The reason I liked the AA kit was because it was cheaper than the Ciener and the last round slide lock back feature which the Ciener doesnt' do.  I've heard Ciener CS is pretty nonexistant whereas I've experienced AA CS and they were helpful and courteous.  Magazines are a little pricey and I've found them betweeen $20 and $25 online.  I bought mine from MidwayUSA when they had them for sale.

Accurate Arms without a doubt.  have one on a Glock 27 and it is super accurate.  Also almost trouble free with good 22 ammo.  Instructions tell you which ammo not to use.

I've been around at least six different advantage arms kits they they have all been very good.  I've been around three Ciener Glock kits which would make a good boat anchor............The Ciener's will not work period.  If you want to go crazy buy a Ciener conversion for a Glock.  If you want one that will work get the Advantage Arms!!!!!  Ciener's are accurate if you like an occasional single shot pistol...................Run from the Ciener like it is the plague. ...............................I hope your not confused "Buy Advantage Arms"....

I have two Advantage Arms .22 conversion kits.  One for my G21 and one for my G17.

I ran 1000 rounds through both units to try and get them to hiccup.  Othe than a couple of failure to fire's, which you are going to get when using cheap .22 ammo, I had no problems with them what so ever.

I am very happy Advantage Arms.

In fact, Mark, because I don't know you, I am more than willing to sell you a Ciener kit with a couple extra magazines at a very fair price.  Contact me.

AA on a G23 frame dedicated, runs great.

Advantage Arms with no question about it. The mags are expensive - but the ammo savings more than makes up for it IMO. get a couple extras and have more fun at the range.

I had a friend that had a terrible time finding a AA conversion kit for a glock 22.  He found the fixed sight (LE) version at OMB Express Police Supply  (www.ombExpress.com I think).   They had several models in stock (ie for  17,19,26,21) and are basically list price $249.99.  Mags are $24.99...................I hope you find one.

Advantage Arms. I have one and it works great with the cheap Remington Golden Bullets that you buy at Wal-Mart.

Can I ask what you mean by this?  I am contemplating this AA kit but will be switching to the .40 cal slide before I leave the range.  Is there a major issue with not having a dedicated .22 kit-ed pistol?  If so, I don't see why I would buy one if I should expect problems.  Could you clarify please?

Thanks sir!

I've really been eyeing the AA kits for my 23 as well.  I'm curious if you all are running these on your primary carry guns or not?

I'm new to conversion kits so this may be a dumb ?, but ...  I carry my 23 all the time and am just wondering there are any issues or things I should be concerned with running a conversion kit on my primary ccw???

If I had this kit I would probably run it suppressed and would shoot it very often.  Obviously .22lr is dirty, but I do have a cleaning kit  Anything else I need to be aware of?
