I just got my Glock 27 back from the factory after they did a rebuild on it. They replaced about 8 or 9 parts, test fired and cleaned it. Plus they rebuilt 3 mags. that I sent also. The turn around time was 3 weeks.

The best part was this was all done F-R-E-E of charge!  Even the return shipping was FREE!

How old are your guns and why do they needed to be rebuilt?

Mine are about 3 years old.. I don't think they need this done.
Or ........ do they? ...Free of charge.

Send it in after three years for a rebuild, just for the hell of it because it's free?  Come on everyone, lets all abuse this and see if we can't screw it up for those of us who actually do wear out parts on our Glocks from legitimate shooting!

Point of clarification if I may. The Glock I sent to be rebuilt I purchased in used condition. Living in a 'non-free' state, you buy what comes in the gun shop. Not knowing the history of this weapon my main concern was safety first. If it had been fired 100 rounds or 100,000 rounds I know it's been checked out by a factory tech.

it is not difficult to have a good idea by inspecting the gun how many rds it had through it, even though you aren't a glock armoer or tech, you can normally look at a gun and tell a reasonably close approximation of rds fired.

there are glocks that have gone a long long time and had a rough life, i woudl use that service if there was a real issue, but if everything looks good, the parts that count that is, and it function properly i wouldn't abuse the system.

however it is great to hear that they will do that,

the free work come in when there is a recall or some models have some issues.
Call them and tell them the model and serial #.
My G21 that I have owned since 1990 was sent to them 3 years ago.

Parts replaced and ejector slot re-cut.

Nothing but praise for Glock

I'm in MA, too.  10 Glocks and counting currently, and bought them all used, most LE trade-ins from Summit Gun Broker.  I've replaced a few springs on them, but that's it.

I even have one Gen 1 G17 that was a very, VERY used LEO gun that I got from Allan's Armory.  It's still 100% the way I got it, except for the fiber optic sights.  Round count?  Who knows, but it does look like it took more than a few skips down the sidewalk.  It's what I used about a month ago for a Bruce Gray class.  1700 rounds in 3 days, no malfunctions.  Oh, and no cleaning or lubing, either.  Someone who came to the class with an HK P7 forgot his cleaning kit, so I have him mine for the weekend.

It was funny, I was sitting, relaxing, while all the Sig, HK, XD and 1911 shooters were busy cleaning and lubing!
