| I'm getting another Glock with my gubment check, I have narrowed it down to the 23, 27 and 36. Already have a 17,19 and 26 and want something with a little more ass than a 9mm but it needs to be smaller than my 29. I can't make up my mind, need input. |
....... and here I thought a Glock model 29, 10mm compact pistol was considerably more powerful than the 9mm.......mike |
Yes it is much more powerful, It is slightly larger than I want for this purchase. |
You don't read do ya? see sigline below. mike |
I would say it would be a toss up between the G36 and the G23 leaning more towards the G23. While the G23 is a little larger than the G36, it gives you double the capacity. I believe the G23 to be slightly more controllable than the G36 and better suited for range use / carry. While the G36 carries well, it's not a pistol you want to shoot for extended periods. |
| Myself...just purchased a G36 and went to the range yesterday and fired the 1st 50 rounds thru it. Love this thing...Small and easy to carry. Also for me more accurate then my G17. If you need more then 6 rounds when using a 45 acp you shouldn't be carrying a gun |
You have answered your own question. The only Glock that you list that is smaller then a 29 is a 27. The rest are all larger in one way or another. Personally I find the 27 too small, but if you're happy w/ the 26, then the 27 will be fine. FB |

Good choice, I was going to recommend the 23. I had a 27 and found it hard to control for accuracy, so I sold it and later found a nice used 23 with Trijicon night sights. When you get a full sized 40 S&W Glock, I recommend the 35. I have one and it is absolutely so fun to shoot. ![]() |
