I finally sold my wife on letting me get a drop in conversion (complete slide) in 50GI for my Glock 21. I am on the waiting list (about 3 months)

I saw one the other day in a gun magazine. It seems cool, but meh... The .50 GI pushes a 300grn JHP at 860fps with 493 ftlbs. Thats not a departure from conventional .40 S&W, 10mm or .45 ACP loads. Ammo is expensive and difficult to find.

Its still kinda cool though

I shot the GunCrafter Industries model NO1. It was really nice. not unlike the .45acp. very controlable. I am actually thinking about carrying the glock conversion in my shop.

Plus I like the look yoou get when you pull it out and people all stare at the stove pipe.
